The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity Southeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (FAR 13.106-1(b)), soliciting from a single source. The proposed source is Advanced Water Systems, Inc. (Cage Code: 1L3N4), 5633 Highway 70, Newport, NC 28570-7935. The period of performance is 14 April 2024 through 13 April 2025 plus four (4) option years.
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity Southeastern Healthcare Operations Contracting Division has a requirement for the provision of services, materials, and equipment necessary to provide the required water treatment services for Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL) Dental Clinics and Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point (NHCCP). The comprehensive service contract for water treatment services and testing; to include services repairs, preventive maintenance, and software upgrades as required water filtration for Kinetico Quad –50 Filter / softeners systems and UV light to meet the standards and guidelines of the American Dental Association. Travel, labor, lodging, parts, and other expenses shall be included in this contract.
Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system, such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty, and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
There are not set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811310. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
