Description

The scope of the contract shall include Disassemble, repair, clean, reassembly and testing of pump for one (1) shipyard owned Firefighting Booster Pump in order to restore Booster Pump back to satisfactory operating condition. Repair (material and labor) QTY=1/EA shipyard owned Firefighting Booster Pump(s): Pump Model: Gould 3996. Shall provide the following services to return the Booster Pump(s) back to service in satisfactory Condition




  • Disassemble, repair, clean, and reassemble pump

  • Replace bearings and bearing hardware

  • Replace impeller

  • Replace motor

  • Replace all O-rings, seals and gaskets

  • Replace mechanical seal

  • Replace other assorted O-rings, gaskets, software and small hardware as needed

  • Test pump to manufacturers specifications
