The purpose of this amendment is to post the RFI questions and answers.
631-23-002 Upgrade Lab and Radiology RFIs
Question 1: What is the scope of work for Architectural Services on this project?
VA Response: The scope of work for architectural services should be full encompassing for a complete demo and remodel of a lab space. All appropriate VA requirements and design manuals needs to be incorporated into the overall design of the space. Reference section 1.2 (Project Specific Scope of Work) in A/E design scope of work.
Question 2: Are you starting in the Design Development Phase, or going back to Schematic Design, before producing the Construction Documents?
VA Response: This project starts at Basis of Design (10%) then moves to Schematic Design (35%), Design Development (65%), Construction Documents (95%), Final Bid Documents (100%). Reference section 3 (Submittals) for design deliverables in A/E design scope of work.
Question 3: It appears that the SF330 is the only requirement. Could you please confirm this?
VA Response: SF 330 submittal packages, including Past Performance Questionnaires, shall be submitted no later than 2:00PM EST April 10, 2024.
Question 4: We would like clarification on whether subcontractors are required to fill out the SF330 or if it's solely for the prime contractor.
VA Response: Solely the prime contractor.
Question 5: Will the answers to the submitted questions be posted on the website?
VA Response: RFI questions and answers are posted to the SAM.gov Contract Opportunities website. https://sam.gov/content/opportunities
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
