Daniel H. Wagner Associates, Exton, Pennsylvania, has been awarded a $2,303,221 cost plus fixed fee Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract. This action will fund the research, development, operations, maintenance, and modernization of algorithms and software that will improve the ability of friendly Undersea Warfare (USW) commanders to conduct their missions.
This contract includes options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $12,228,604. Funds in the amount of $304,088 were obligated at the time of the award, and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. SBIR Phase III contracts are exempt from the requirement to pursue a full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-5: Authorized or Required by Statue. Work will be performed in Exton, Pennsylvania and is expected to finish by June 2024 during the base period or June 2028 if all options are exercised.
