Description

This is a presoliciation notice for an upcoming Construction Project at the McCook Levee located in McCook, Illinois.



Description: The Construction work requires repair of existing steel sheet piles at an existing levee via installation of a concrete cap. It includes incidental related work such as erosion control and optional installation of a new safety fence. The Government anticipates the project will begin in the Spring of 2024 and take less than 300 calendar days. The magnitude of the Construction Project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.



Set-Aside: This requirement will be a total small business set-aside under the NAICS: 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $45M.



Sustainable Requirements: The concrete used in the cap must meet EPA minimum recovered material content and USDA bio-preferred minimum content standards, as required under FAR 52.223-2, Affirmative Procurement of Biobased Products Under Service and Construction Contracts.
