The United States Government (USG), Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) requires construction services for an Architectural Barriers Act (ABA) Improvement Project in Vienna, Austria.
The intent of this project is to provide Architectural Barriers Act (ABA), access from the CMR public living room to the existing patio and from the patio to the pedestrian pathway.
The Contractor shall execute the project in accordance with the RFP Contract Documents, and provide complete construction services, contract coordination and supervision, including but not limited to the management, and construction in accordance with the requirements of this contract and within the established schedules.
‐ Raise stone patio (outside main living room).
‐ Reconfigure stairs in center of patio.
‐ Provide ramp between existing patio to remain and elevated patio.
‐ Demolish side stairs and replace with ramp with handrails on both sides
‐ Make adjustments to the existing walkway as necessary to accommodate new patio ramp
Estimated size of the project according to FAR 36.204 is between $25,000 and $100,000 in range.
