posted on Sam.gov Contracting Opportunities on or after May 13, 2024.
SCOPE OF CONTRACT
This project consists of crack sealing, patching asphalt, and chip sealing approximately 4.65 miles of the roadway.
All work shall be in compliance with the contract documents. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies. Work includes but is not limited to: crack sealing for alligator cracking, longitudinal/transverse cracks, patching potholes, depressions, and rutting, and placing a ½” chipseal. All work will be in accordance with FP-14 and supplemental project specifications. Contractor is responsible for providing 3rd party inspection and testing for all aspects of chipseal work.
PROJECT LOCATION
The project site is located on the Emmett Ranger District, Boise National Forest, Gem County, Idaho on National Forest System Road (NFSR) #614, Township 12 North, Range 2 East, Sections 34, 35, and 36. The project begins at the intersection of NFSR 626/666, on the west side of Sage Hen Reservoir and continues 0.15 miles to intersection of NFSR 614. The remaining 4.5 miles is along NFSR 614.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
Performance is expected to begin in early July, 2024. Construction must be
completed by October 1, 2025.
PROJECT MAGNITUDE
Per FAR 36.204(e) the estimated magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
SITE VISIT
No formal site visit will be scheduled. Information regarding visiting the site will be contained
within the forthcoming Solicitation.
