Birch Bayh Secured Historic Entryway Improvements

Secured historic entryway improvements construction is to be performed at the Birch Bayh Federal Building and United States Courthouse at 46 E Ohio Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204. This project includes, but is not limited to the following work:

• Replace exterior doors and entire framing to replicate original design


• Replace doors in the vestibule partition to replicate original design

The estimated price range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement is being set aside for all Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $45 million. This is a negotiated procurement; therefore, a public bid opening will not be held. The solicitation will be available on or about March 1, 2024. Please consult the solicitation for final details.

The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as SAM.gov. SAM.gov is a secure website designed to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) acquisition information. SAM.gov is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives and is available for use by all Federal agencies. Registration in SAM.gov is required in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Contractors not registered in these systems will be ineligible to download the solicitation and ineligible for an award.
