The Government anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) with the intent of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract for the project known as: Two Rivers Levee and Drainage District Flood Repairs.
Project Description: The work consists of stripping, grading, placing bedding stone and riprap along 3,000 feet of the riverside slope and toe of the levee, and seeding disturbed areas by barge.
In accordance with FARS 36.204(g), the estimated magnitude of construction is expected to be between $5M - $10M. This prospective contract action will be conducted using the NAICS Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction), the size standard is $45M, and the Federal Supply Code is Y1QA Construction of Restoration of Real Property (Public or Private).
The solicitation will proceed as a Competitive 100% Small Business Set-Aside and is estimated to be issued on or about 22 December 2023 with bids due tentatively on 22 January 2024. The IFB will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as SAM.gov and will establish a firm bid due date/time.
If applicable, the site visit date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation.
