1/7/2023- Posted a summary of amendments. This is not an amendment to the solicitation. This is to help give a reference to the amendments that have been made. As stated in 1/5/2023, if a package has already been submitted email is acceptable for the last amendment.

1/5/2023- This amendment is to correct Exhibit 11 for any tanked Type 3 helicopters. PLease see the amendment and conformed solciitation labled "1202SA22R9203 conformed amend 0011". A few of the last questions are attached. If you have already mailed your package an email will be acceptable stating acknoweldgement of Amendment 11 and the conformed solicitation. Prospective offerors are cautioned to review the solicitation carefully and in its entirety to discern all changes.

12/18/2022 - Amendment 0010 is to answer the last questions that were submitted. Also, to revise Section b.4(C) to Include Weight and Center of Gravity language, and Section E.3 (M) for evaluation of registration and airworthiness. Revisions are in the conformed solicitation labeled 1202SA22R9203 conformed to Amendment 10. Please submit this version of the solicitation with your bid. 12/1/2022- I went in a deleted all the old Pricing Workbooks and upload the correct one to use. The old workbooks are not needed, will not be used, and were causing confusion on which one to use with the proposal submission. use "pricing Workbook T3 11_30_2022" for your bid on this solicitation.

SOLICITATION IS ACTIVE-

Amendment 0007 is to announce the protest has concluded and the solicitation is moving forward. The new due date is 12 January 2023. If you have not already sent your letter of interest, please do so by 12 December 2022. The intent of this solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain helicopters operated by fully qualified and proficient personnel and equipped to meet specifications contained herein. These helicopters will be used in the administration and protection of public lands to supplement the United States Forest Service’s (USFS) natural resources and wildland fire management programs. Missions will include, but are not limited to, fire suppression, fire monitoring, initial attack, prescribed fire and aerial ignition, short-haul, rappel, law enforcement limited to non-threatening surveillance, reconnaissance, and other administrative and related resource activities.

Type 2 and Type 1 will issue later, the solicitation number will be Type 2: 1202SA22R9202 and Type 1: 1202SA22R9201
