Project Location: Peaceful Valley Ranch resides inside the south unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Access is from Medora, ND, the south entrance and continues into the park approximately 10 miles on a paved road.
The Work consists of the following:
1. Rehabilitation/stabilization of the site's three historic structures - the Ranch House, Bunkhouse, and Barn for future park and visitor uses. Work will also include upgrades to some of the site's utility infrastructure.
2. Project is designed to comply with the goals of the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Rating System, where applicable and as specified in Division 01 Section "Sustainable Design Requirements."
C. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
Firms interested in the project should possess the following specialized skills and experience, in their responses to this Notice.
Criterion A - Describe your experience with structural stabilization of historic wood buildings that are landmark buildings of national significance. Provide sample projects with a contract value of more than $2,000,000 that demonstrate completing the project on time and on budget, taking into account problems encountered on the identified contracts and the offeror's corrective actions.
Criterion B - Describe your experience with hazardous material abatement.
Criterion C - Describe your experience with protection of existing historic building material and character while providing structural rehabilitation of key elements. How have you supported a structure while replacing bearing structural members.
Criterion D - Describe your experience working on historic structures replacing roofs, windows, doors and flooring.
Criterion E - Describe your knowledge of the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties and how you have successfully followed these on recent projects.
Bonding Capability - Interested firms MUST provide a letter from their bonding company to confirm their bonding capacity.
The purpose of this Amendment No. 1 is to correct the solicitation number, as the original solicitation number was done in error. The solicitation number is changed from 140P2019R0017 to 140P2019R0066.
The response date is unchanged. Response date had to be changed merely to apease the system.
