*** THIS IS A REQUEST FOR QUOTE UNDER SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES ***



The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request for Quotes(RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). The Idaho State Office seeks for work to be performed for the MaryAnn Chapman Easement in Clearwater County.



The Project consists of the removal of the existing boundary fence on a USDA/NRCS Wetland Reserve Program easement. The existing fence is past its useful lifespan, no longer intact, unable to fulfil its purpose, and not friendly to wildlife.



An organized site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. Local Time.



Location: The intersection of Musselshell Rd. and Browns Creek Rd. in Weippe ID 83553



Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. This opportunity will be a Total Small Business set-aside.The full solicitation package including construction drawings specifications and wage rates will be posted and available from this website on or after February 13, 2023. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. Payment Bond (SF-25A), Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC), or a Tripartite Escrow Agreement in the amount of 100% of the project cost will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract.



The anticipated period of performance for this project is 42 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $50,000 and $150,000. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238990. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $16.5M.
