The general scope of the design-bid-build project requires the contractor to repair, replace and improve building systems of a 67,000 square foot facility, including fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC and electrical, and repair damage to interior elements, surfaces, and finishes. Maintain the existing HVAC ductwork and replace only wetted insulation. Add HVAC fault detection and diagnostics when replacing controls to include added temperature monitoring. Replace all wet piping and restore to a comparable system with freeze protection. Make only minor repairs to select features of the fire alarm and mass notification system as directed.
