Description of Services: GSA has a need for professional services to coordinate, manage, facilitate, plan, and implement activities, programs, and events for the federally owned buildings in the Central Business District of Salt Lake City, UT. These services will include the management of activities and programs, coordination of events and vendors on the plaza, public safety resources and informational services, and services for temporary exhibits, installations, or displays.
The above-mentioned services are provided to support the Good Neighbor Program authorized through the Public Buildings Cooperative Use Act of 1976 and other various legal mandates, such as federal laws and executive orders. Original Notice of Sole Source Contracting Action: On June 20, 2023, a base notice for the required services was posted to the System for Award Management (SAM), Contract Opportunities domain. The Downtown Alliance, Inc. is uniquely positioned to provide these services as the sole entity to represent the businesses in the Utah Central Business District and coordinate events in partnership with the Salt Lake Chamber. The Government did not receive any written notification of interest from vendors in response to the posted special notice.
Posting of Contract Award: This notice of award and sole source justification will remain posted through November 16, 2023.
