INDUSTRY DAY - Mike Mansfield Federal Building/Courthouse Seismic Retrofit & Ltd Modernization Design/Build

THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND IS NOT CONSIDERED A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. ALL INTERESTED FIRMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES WILL BE REQUIRED TO RESPOND SEPARATELY TO ANY SOLICITATIONS POSTED AS A RESULT OF THE NOTICE.

The purpose of this FBO Notice is to announce a Virtual Industry Day for the upcoming Design-Build (D-B) services for the design and construction for repairing seismic and structural deficiencies, including full seismic upgrade, roof replacement, building systems upgrades, and corrections to accessibility, circulation and code deficiencies on the historic Mike Mansfield Federal Building and Courthouse (FB/CH) located in Butte, Montana. This industry day is optional and for information purposes only. This Virtual Industry Day is an opportunity for industry (vendors) and GSA to discuss the requirements of the project, inform on the intended acquisition strategy, and clarify any questions before we release a formal solicitation. Feedback and questions are welcomed. Interested industry partners are strongly encouraged to attend the live session, as it will not be recorded and participant lists will not be released.

Registration:

The Industry Day will be conducted via Google Meets on December 5, 2023, 1:00PM - 2:00PM, MST. To participate and receive the invitation link, vendors must email the Contracting Officer, Christie VandenDries, at christie.vandendries@gsa.gov. All requests to attend the industry day shall have an email subject of “Mansfield DB Industry Day-Registration” and be electronically submitted by COB on November 30, 2023. All requests must include the names of the attendees, company, and email address for all intended attendees. GSA will provide an invitation to all interested attendees for the Industry Day on December 4, 2023.

Questions:

If interested attendees have prepared questions for the industry day ahead of time, please provide all questions to the listed POC above by COB November 30, 2023. All questions shall contain an email subject of “Mansfield DB Industry Day-Questions.” GSA will do its best to respond to all reasonable questions during the event but does not guarantee all questions will be answered.

Agenda:

The General Services Administration, Region 8, will provide stakeholders and potential contractors with information regarding the project overview, program of requirements, goals for the project, history/background of the project, and budget for the project. In addition, GSA will provide a broad overview of the solicitation process and anticipated source selection criteria at this time. GSA is interested in gathering information on how it can make the project more attractive to bidders/increase competition, as well as provide an opportunity for networking between small and large construction firms, vendors, supplies, and local businesses.

This meeting will be conducted pursuant to FAR Part 10-Market Research and FAR 15.201(e).
