SUBJECT: Sources Sought to Provide, Install, and Update Fire Systems in the Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, Room 1418, in Building 9000, Building 11000, and Mechanical Room 43 at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station.
The Peterson Space Force Base 21st Contracting Squadron is requesting information from potential providers of Fire Alarm Systems. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333998, All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 700 employees.
This sources sought is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The 21st Civil Engineering Squadron, Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station, Colorado Springs, Colorado has a requirement of furnishing necessary labor, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete a fire systems upgrade in Room 1418, Building 9000, Building 11000, and Mechanical Room43 at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station.
The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. At this time, PSFB is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.
The following is a synopsis of the requirement contained in the Statement of Work (SOW):
The work to be performed shall consist of furnishing necessary labor, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete all work stated in this Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall follow all current, applicable codes (NFPA 13-2019), regulations, standards, and criteria. In addition, all work procedures and materials shall be approved by the 21st Civil Engineering Squadron (21 CES) prior to the start of work. The work in this SOW shall be executed by qualified and efficient mechanics/tradesmen, skilled in their respective trades. The contractor shall coordinate and perform all operations in a manner that will result in a professionally and expeditiously completed project
Interested and qualified sources are requested to submit the following information to this office by electronic mail by: 26 February 2024 at 12:00 PM Mountain Time.

(2) Representation/Certification of small business socio economic status (if applicable).
(3) Would interested contractors want a site visit?
(4) Is your business categorized as a small business under the anticipated NAICS code of 333998, All Other Miscellaneous General Purpose Machinery Manufacturing? Do you think this NAICS is appropriate?
(5) Do you intend to provide a quote for this requirement? How many days would you need to draft a quote?
(6) Provide any additional questions or comments related to the requirement in general.
(7) Do you have the necessary licenses and permits to accomplish this request? Are there any that may be necessary that were not mentioned in Attachment 1 - Combined Fire Systems: Requirements Only?
