Berlin Lake, Mahoning County, Ohio
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, is carrying out a Project to replace the existing Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) at the location referenced above. Work is to be performed entirely on Government property which consists of a public campground, two USACE field offices, and the existing WWTF. The campground is open annually from mid-May to mid-September, while the two USACE field offices are open year-round. Major features and coordination efforts of the Project generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
Physical construction and demolition for the Project is currently estimated to take place from May 2025 through October 2026 and campground operations throughout the year are assumed to remain unchanged.
