The 110th Wing in Battle Creek, MI is seeking to incorporate a Radio over IP (RoIP) system, which will provide interoperable push-to-talk (PTT) communication across broadband and radio networks and devices, into the existing Motorola GTR 8000 repeater system currently in operation. This system will more easily allow the addition of radio communications in secure areas where emissions security (EMSEC) is a concern by propagating signals via network fiber until they can be converted at the radio gateway server into radio frequency (RF) and transmitted via the array of repeaters and antennas to the rest of the base. This RoIP system will consist of the following at a minimum:
One (1) each radio gateway server
Fifteen (15) each Desktop Communicators software
Installation and programming of radio gateway server and desktop communicators
Solutions provided must meet the following requirements:
Vendor/Technician must be Motorola certified partner as they will need to incorporate the gateway server with existing Motorola repeater equipment.
See attached Combined Synopsis/Solicitation.
