The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) Southern Market Division Contracting Division (SMCD) intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Sysmex America, Inc., for a hematology analyzer, reagents, and support and services for the 2nd Medical Group, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only one source reasonably available. The applicable NAICS code is 334516, with a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees.

The Government is seeking responses from businesses that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, rights, and capabilities necessary to provide these services. This Notice of Intent to Sole Source does not constitute a solicitation. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses incurred associated with responding to this Notice. A determination by the Government to continue with a sole source action, or to issue a competitive solicitation, will be made based on any responses received to this notice, and will be made solely at the Government’s discretion.
