PN 100850 SOF Exploitation Training Facilities

This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information only. This is NOT a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, is conducting research to determine the market capabilities of potential contractors to construct three (3) training facilities (two-stories each) designed to simulate a city hall, a residence, and a laboratory. In order to provide a variety of training environments for the students to experience, the city hall simulation building should contain multiple office settings; the residential simulation building should include multiple bedroom dwelling spaces; and the laboratory simulation building should include multiple laboratory settings. Low Impact Development features will be included in the design and construction of this project as appropriate. Supporting facilities include site development, a gravel access road, electric utilities and connections, water connection, storm drainage, and other site improvements. These facilities will be used by military able-bodied soldiers. This project will be designed and constructed in accordance with Unified Facilities Criteria, Installation Architectural Compatibility Plan, other applicable Department of Defense (DoD) criteria, Army regulations, and applicable U.S. Federal environmental laws and regulations. This project will provide Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) features and comply with AT/FP regulations and physical security mitigation in accordance with DoD Minimum Anti-Terrorism Standards for Buildings.
In accordance with FAR 36.204(f) the magnitude of construction for this project will be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
