THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL COMMERCIAL AVAILABILITY OF PLCS AND RELAYS COMPATABLE WITH THE KINGS BAY SCADA SYSTEM FOR THE DESIGN BUILD, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, FY24, P695 BASEWIDE ELECTRICAL NAVAL SUBMARINE BASE (NSB) KINGS BAY, GA.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR AN INVITATION FOR BID. NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation currently available. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made.
The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine if there are commercially available PLCs and protective relays, constructed and installed by your organization, that are compatible with the current NSB Kings Bay SCADA sytem PLCs and protective relays indicated in Attachment 2 – Technical Information. The attachment describes the required PLCs and protective relays requirements for the SCADA system at Naval Submarine Base (NSB) Kings Bay, GA.
This is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining commercial avialability. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 5 pages total) demonstrating the ability to provide the product with the specifications described above.
Interested Sources are invited to respond to this Source Sought by completing Attachment 1 – Company Information and Attachment 2 – Technical Information.
The Capabilities Statement Package shall not exceed 5 pages and shall ONLY be submitted electronically to lindsay.e.betteridge@navy.mil and cynthia.a.mcmonigle.civ@us.navy.mil and MUST be limited to a 4MB attachment. You are encouraged to request a read receipt or acknowledgement via reply email.
RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 14:00 eastern time on 1 May 2024. LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation.
