Advanced Hearing Aid Testing Equipment - Verifit2

The DHA, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton San Diego has a need for the purchase of three advanced hearing aid verification systems. The systems will verify and adjust hearing instruments to target automatically through a direct interface with the fitting software and measure the high frequency amplification of hearing instruments that claim extended bandwidth. The Audioscan Verifit 2 is intended to replace the current Audioscan Verifit 1.multiple hearing aid testing devices from various manufacturers, but the Verifit 2 was selected over the other hearing aid testing devices due to its range of functions and the familiarity the providers at the Audiology Department have with the Audioscan interface and software, mitigating operational down time and the need/cost for retraining.
