Description

Summary of the Scope: The objective of this project is to provide a new two-lane pharmacy drivethrough. The drive-through will provide private entry and exit points separate from the main parking of the facility. A standing seam roof covered walkway system that matches the aesthetics of the facility that houses the tubular system for the drive-through will be provided. New pavement elements including curbs, curb cuts, raised median and sidewalks will be provided. Completion of this project will provide the pharmacy with adequate equipment, space and safety for the patient and employees of the facility. A pneumatic tubular system will be designed to run from the existing pharmacy to the pickup/drop points of the drive-through.



The Pawnee Indian Health Center was originally constructed in 2003. The Drive Through will be located on the North East side of the facility, near the exit door for Dental employees. The pharmacy drivethrough is being constructed to help provide protection for the patients and the employees of the facility. The addition of the drive-through pharmacy will improve overall operations of health care delivery.



The objective of this project is to:



- Provide a new two-lane pharmacy drive-through. The drive-through will provide private entry and exit points separate from the main parking of the facility.



- Provide an awning system that houses the tubular system for the drive-through that matches the aesthetics of the facility.



- Provide new pavement elements (including sidewalks) on the north east side of the facility.



Construction Magnitude: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204.



CONTRACT TYPE: The Indian Health Service intends to award a single Firm FixedPrice (FFP) contract in support of this requirement. This solicitation will beprocured as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR Part 36procedures with Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.
