The Indian Health Service, Bemidji Area Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm-fixed price contract for IT System Backup Solution to include multiple sites. The solicitation will be issued electronically at www.sam.gov, on or about March 25, 2024. Proposal documents will be available for download and Specifications will be available at that time.
Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with the Indian Health Service are required to have an active registration in the Systems for Awards Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov at the receipt of proposals and at the time of award.
This pre-solicitation announcement is not a solicitation document, but pre-notice of an upcoming solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed above.
The solicitation number is 75H70524R00003, this will be a competitive RFP, however the Bemidji Area does require some of the elements in the Scope of work to be "Brand Name Only" for the Rubrik Data Management system which will be listed in the Bid Schedule.
The objective of this project is to provide a centralized and standardized backup solution for Bemidji Area Office and 3 Federal Service Units. Local Backups are to be performed onsite to the new local appliances, then replicated out to a central Repository hosted by IHS in Bemidji MN. Sites will receive an onsite backup appliance(s), software to run and integrate with IHS systems (Windows, VMware, SQL, Oracle), and licensing to operate.
