This acquisition is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 237310 size standard $45M.
The intent of this contract is to provide for replacement of three trail bridges in the Superior National Forest: Pincushion
Mountain Loop Bridge #2 Replacement @ MP 2.143, Pincushion Mountain Loop Bridge #6 Replacement @ MP 0.545, and
Caribou Snowmobile Trail No. 91044 over Noname Creek Bridge Replacement @ MP 10.556. The project will include
traffic control monitoring; demolition and removal existing bridges, furnish and install new timber abutments and wing
walls and all associated hardware; furnish and install rip rap, backfill and geotextile drainage material for cribbing; furnish
and place aggregate; install permanent bridge signs and object markers; furnish and install timber superstructure –
including dowel-laminated deck system, curb/railing systems, deck wearing surface (where designated) and all associated
hardware; approach rail system and all associated hardware where designated; seed and mulch all disturbed areas; and
protect the waterways and associated wetlands from siltation and other destructive impacts of construction.
