Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE



1. The proposed solicitation will be solicited as unrestricted. NAICS is 812320, Drycleaning and Laundry Services (except Coin-Operated).





2. Description of Services: Hospital laundry services for Boise VAMC. The Contractor shall process all items within a 24-hour turn-around time. The processing facility shall be within a 100-mile radius of the Boise VAMC. The processing facility layout/design shall incorporate a "design for asepsis" whereby clean linen does not come into contact with soiled linens nor share the same physical space, thus avoiding cross-contamination or reintroduction of bacteria once processed.





3. Period of Performance: The Period of Performance is a base with four (4) option years. 52.217-8 will be included for an additional six-month extension, if applicable. Anticipated start date is appr. 1 July 2024.





4. The anticipated issuance of the Request for Quote is appr. 2nd week of April 2024 with an anticipated award date appr. end of May 2024.





5. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Agency.
