This announcement seeks information from industry, which will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.

The Government intends to solicit this requirement as a Small Business Set-Aside (to include the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Businesses).

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

See attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement for the scope of environmental remediation services necessary for performance of this requirement.

SITE VISIT:

The Dugway site conditions are still not ideal, but we are going to do our best to have a site visit on 27 April 2023.

*PLEASE NOTE* NO SEDANS will be allowed on the road to the site. 4x4 SUVs or Trucks must be used. We do not foresee cancelling this event, but we will still reevaluate conditions prior to the visit in case there is any further degradation to the roads.

ANY FUTURE UPDATES WILL BE PROVIDED via SAM.GOV.

The Site Visit details are as follows:

- Date: 27 April 2023

- Time: 10:00am MDT

- Meeting Location: HQ Parking Lot, West (on W. Knight) of the HQ Building off Stark Rd. Please make sure to account for processing time through the Main Gate.

If your company would like to attend the site visit:

1. If you have previously requested access from either of the two cancelled site visits and all attendees and their information remain the same, please confirm with Amy.L.Estey@usace.army.mil that she has the necessary information (send company and names of those attending).

2. Complete the attached access form if you are requesting access for the first time, or need to add or change attendees. Please request a DoD Safe drop off email from Amy.L.Estey@usace.army.mil (in order to submit the completed roster for your company). If CAC holder, only Name and Company are needed. For form please continue information in first line: Carter, Jeff in “sponsor” column; and the “access area” will be coded “EV, WD” for all.

3. Follow DoD Safe instructions and return the access request form.

4. The form MUST be returned to USACE by 1200 PDT on 24 Apr 2023.
