NOCA - UpToDate Bridge Contract

This synopsis is in accordance with FAR Part 5, is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source bridge contract to UpToDate, Inc. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and email requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a contract to a Contractor to furnish the subscription database: UpToDate (Wolters Kluwer). These services are critical for patient care and security and no other Contractors will be considered for the bridge award.

This Individual Justification is submitted to award a bridge contract for the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) database, UpToDate (Wolters Kluwer). This database from the publisher Wolters Kluwer is a first-line, comprehensive, and primary source of clinical information and guidance for the Department of the Army, which include and consist of medical and clinical support functions, all medical-related personnel regardless of location. This contract will be Firm-Fixed Price. The Period of Performance is for a one-month Base period and two (2) three-month Option Periods, 19 April 2024 to 18 November 2024.
