Replace Electrical Panel Board in OR

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, and

the Miami VA Medical Center (MVAMC) needs the replacement of the existing standard

ground panel boards with Isolated Power Systems (IPS)/Isolated Power Panels (IPP) in the

3rd floor operating rooms OR-1, OR-2, OR-3, OR-4, Special OR-1 (OR-5), Special OR-2 (OR-6),

Special OR-3(OR-7), Cystoscopy OR-1(OR-11), Cystoscopy OR-2(OR-10), and provide

redundant sources of power from two different critical branch ATS circuits in each OR to

comply with current VA Criteria. The contractor shall read and analyze the complete Design

Package and perform all construction activities (build, installation, replacement, wiring,

control, calibration, adjustment, testing, etc.) while maintaining the operation of the OR

during construction per the 100% Final Design, Narrative and Specifications provided by the

Architect Engineer (AE) firm.
