ITL Hard Drive Destruction

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and quotes are being requested.

Requisition Number W912HZ24Q0031 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ) with intent to award as a single contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-07. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 million dollars.

The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has a requirement for a one-time off-site purge secure destruction of end-of-life IT hardware. Specially, the contractor shall destroy 10,950 hard drives and 8,400 tapes. The contractor shall document hard drive serial numbers prior to destruction and provide a copy of the log to the government. Hard drives should be securely destroyed by shearing/crushing/pulverizing. Proposal shall identify the destruction method for hard drives and tapes.

BASIS FOR AWARD

The Government intends to award one contract to the responsible offeror whose quote is responsive to the solicitation and determined to be the best value and most advantageous to the Government. Each quote will be evaluated for technical acceptability and price.
