Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is awarded a fully funded order, N00019-23-F-0250 under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-19-G-0029, in the amount of $2,661,962 for the non-recurring engineering effort required to integrate, test and qualify an updated Control Display Unit (CDU) and Multifunction Display (MFD) in order to mitigate component obsolescence within the respective hardware for the H-53K Aircraft. Sikorsky is the only known responsible source possessing the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills, technical data, facilities and experience to complete the development, integration and production of the CH-53K to meet United States Marine Corps (USMC) requirements within the required time frame. Therefore, the award was issued as a sole source Cost Plus Fixed Fee Contract to Sikorsky who has been the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the CH-53K weapon system and it's components.
