T-1 TELECOM CONTINUOUS SERVICE

Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMS LANT) Contracting Division Norfolk Virginia intends to negotiate and procure T-1 Telecommunications services on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source reasonably available. Sole source is identified as:

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES FROM OTHER SOURCES. Determinations has been made by the Government to not compete this proposed contract action and consideration of any responses by other than the identified sole source is solely at the discretion of the Government. Evaluation of any other offers received will be considered for purposes of determination if a competitive solicitation is warranted.

This requirement is for continuation of required telecommunications support as a follow-on from contract N0018918D0024. Support services include commercial business lines (including ancillary services such as caller ID and voice mail), private line point circuits , fast Ethernet, primary rate interface Digital circuits with direct in dial number block for video teleconferencing (VTC) and equipment support services for communications circuit functionality.

Requirement will be for a base year plus 1 option year.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned for this contract action is 517111 with a Size Standard of 1,500. Product Service Code is DG11; It and Telecom - Network: Satellite Communications and Telecom Access Services.
