This performance work statement (PWS) is for the 99th RD Medical Equipment Concentration Site for equipment storage and maintenance located at 3351 Lexington Ave, JBMDL, New Jersey 08640. As a performance base contract, the requirements are stated in terms of desired results with associated quality standards. The non-personal services required of this PWS will be performed in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
The contractor shall furnish all personnel, training, labor, safety equipment, management, administration, and services, except as may be expressly set forth as government furnished, and otherwise do all things necessary to perform and provide the work efforts described in the PWS in order to provide non-personal services to provide maintenance, services retrieval and restaging for medical equipment pertaining to the 99th RD, 81st RD, 1st MSC, 200th MP, 76th ORC medical units and non-medical units with medical devices. The contractor will also support hands-on training and potential mobilization/operational tempo events for the 99th RD, 81st RD, 1st MSC, 200th MP, 76 ORC. Only the Contracting Officer (KO) has the authorization to make changes to this requirement.
The (M)ECS is a unique and multifaceted organization that acts as the 99th and 81st RD’s central focal point and Executive Agent for medical equipment programs and initiatives. The Agency’s mission is to maintain and sustain medical capabilities for the United States Army Reserve Commands Medical assets, to enable medical readiness globally. Accordingly, the (M)ECS principal skills and technologies focus on the lifecycle management, sustaining and modernizing the medical force for the Army Reserve, to support exercises and contingency operations.
