The Managed Switch/Ethernet Switch kits will upgrade the current Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) configuration of the Stryker family of vehicles. The kit uses connectors for Ethernet and power in order to connect and provide internet capability throughout the entire vehicle. The existing SIXNET switches will be harvested from the vehicles and reintroduced into the Stryker supply system to maintain teh rest of the Stryker fleet. The Ethernet Switch kits cannot be procured from sources other than General Dynamics Land System because the Government does not possess the sufficient access to the technical data and computer software package neccessary for competitive procurement.
