THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE – The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 Central Region, 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 200, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129 will be soliciting a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 5/09/2024 for construction services for the following project:
Project# 621-22-704 – EHRM NEXTGEN WIFI UPGRADES at the James H. Quillen VAMC, Mt. Home, TN 37684.
SET-ASIDE: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00
NAICS: 238210 – Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors
SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $19 Million
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The project will require the selected contractor to provide all resources necessary to accomplish and furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to completely prepare site for building operations as required per drawings and specifications at the located at the corner of Lamont & Veterans Way, James H. Quillen VAMC, Mt. Home, TN 37684 for the above-mentioned Project # 621-22-704 – EHRM NEXTGEN WIFI UPGRADES. Work includes, but not limited to provide and install conduit, raceways, horizontal and vertical penetrations, and fire stopping to support NextGen Wi-Fi installation on the Portland VA campus as shown and described in the project drawings and specifications.
Anticipated completion time from Notice-to-Proceed is 120 calendar days for the entire project.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Apparent successful offerors must have a current VETS 4212 report on file with the Department of Labor; be registered in SAM; and be registered in the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) site at the time of submission of proposal. Failure to be both verified by the SBA and visible on VetCert https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ at the time of proposal submission will result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the SBA and submit the required documents to obtain verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.

No questions will be considered until the actual solicitation is released on or about 5/09/2023.
