STATEMENT OF WORK
General Equipment Name: Exam and Treatment Tables
Description & Salient Characteristics
The VA Medical Center has a need for 84 standard exam tables and 4 bariatric exam tables facilitating activations at Galesburg CBOC, Decorah CBOC, Coralville Clinic, Waterloo CBOC, Cardiology Clinic, 1 West Primary Care Clinic and MOHS Clinic. Bariatric exam table shall have a weight rating of at least 650lbs and the standard exam tables shall have a weight rating of at least 450lbs. Exam tables shall have arm rests/handles for safety. Exam table shall be motorized and have the ability to be lowered for patients to safely sit down or transfer from wheelchair. Exam tables shall have the ability to be able to be adjusted higher for providers to complete an exam and not have to stoop over the patient. Exam tables shall have a retractable roller system to allow table to be safely moved for cleaning. The requested exam tables shall also be equipped with pelvic tip option and storage warmer.
