  • TOW 2024-11 | WATERCOURSE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT

The Town seeks to retain a contractor to complete maintenance work
associated with improving the flow of stormwater through watercourses (drainage channels) and wetland
areas located on Town properties, which will primarily include the removal of sediment, trees, stumps,
logs, brush, stones and other objectional materials that are inhibiting the free flow of water. This work
will be completed with active stormwater flow and likely located in areas that may be difficult to access
and will therefore require hand work with use of tools such as chain saws, trimmers, shovels, winches,
small excavation equipment, etc. Some associated work may include installation of sediment and erosion
controls, and associated restoration of disturbed areas.
The selected contractor shall be available on an as-needed, on-call basis for an anticipated period of
approximately two (2) years or until available funds are expended.
