YWCA Hartford Region RFQ and RFP for Construction Management at Risk Services

YW proposes to renovate its 49-year-old building in Hartford by creating a Center for Racial Justice and Gender Equity (The Center). This includes, but is not limited to, plans for The Center to create a new Technology Lab classroom to support training programs to prepare women for careers in high-demand tech industries. New program classrooms will offer additional youth development programming for girls, expanded workforce, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and other self-development programming.

As a State of Connecticut-funded grantee of the Community Investment Fund 2030 (CIF) in the amount of $4.2 million, YW is required to procure Construction Management Services in a manner consistent with the requirements of Connecticut Law and the Connecticut Public Procurement Section 32-285a of the Connecticut General Statutes. The CIF is designed to foster economic development in historically underserved communities across the state.
