Description:

The City of Show Low is extending an invitation for sealed quotes to selected contractors for the City Campus Training Building Windows, City of Show Low Project FM-3524 in the City of Show Low, for the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, transportation and services for the replacement of window glass. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, preparation, window installation and glazing, and cleanup to deliver a complete project. The project consists of installing 64 - 42 inch by 72 inch windows (nominal size, contractor to confirm). The existing windows and frames have already been removed. This work shall take place at 760 E McNeil, Show Low, Arizona, 85901.


Sealed Bids will be received by the Engineering Project Manager, City of Show Low, 180 N. 9th Street, Show Low, AZ 85901 until Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 3:00 PM local time, with a Public Bid Opening immediately following. The City of Show Low reserves the right to modify the Scope of Work and to reject any and all bids not deemed in the best interest of the City. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 3:00 pm, at Show Low City Hall 180 N 9th Street, Show Low, AZ . Written questions only will be received until close of business on Thursday, December 21, 2023. 1. Defined Terms and Standard Documents
Construction and administration of this Project shall be in accordance with the
requirements of the latest edition of the following separate documents except as
modified and supplemented by these Contract Documents:
Attached Technical Specifications, the Uniform Standard Specifications for
Public Works Construction Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG),
current edition, and the current edition of the City of Show Low
Supplement to MAG Specifications and Details.
Terms used in the Instructions to Bidders are defined in the General Provisions,
MAG. The term “Owner” means the City of Show Low. The term “Engineer”
means the City of Show Low City Engineer, unless otherwise stated. The term
“Bidder” means one who submits a Bid directly to Owner, as distinct from a sub-
bidder, who submits a Bid to a Bidder. The term “Successful Bidder” means the
lowest, qualified, responsible, and responsive Bidder to whom the Owner (on the
basis of Owner’s evaluation as hereinafter provided) makes an award. The term
“Bidding Documents” includes the Advertisement or Invitation to Bid, Instructions
to Bidders, the Bid Form, and the proposed Contract Documents (including all
Addenda issued prior to receipt of Bids).
2. Copies of Bidding Documents:
Complete sets of the Bidding Documents stated in the Advertisement or Invitation
to Bid may be obtained from the City of Show Low.
Complete sets of Bidding Documents must be used in preparing Bids; the Owner
does not assume any responsibility for errors or misrepresentations resulting
from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents.
The Owner and Engineer, in making copies of Bidding Documents available on
the above terms, does so only for the purpose of obtaining Bids on the Work and
does not confer a license or grant for any other use.
3. Qualifications of Bidder:
To demonstrate qualifications to perform the Work, each Bidder, must be
prepared to submit within five days of Owner’s request, written evidence, such as
financial data, previous experience, present commitments, and other such data
as may be called for below (or in Supplemental Instructions). Each bid must
contain evidence of Bidder’s qualifications to do business in the State of Arizona
or covenant to obtain such qualifications prior to award of the Contract.
