Description:

The City of Show Low, AZ is soliciting Bids for the City Campus Roof Replacement City of Show Low Project #FM-4223. The work includes removal and disposal of existing roofing, deck preparation, underlayment, repairing damaged decking, removal and replacement of mechanical units and conduit, installing approximately 9,500 square feet of new membrane roofing which meets the following specification: GAF EverGuard®, Mule Hide or approved equal TPO 60-mil Membrane with mechanical fasteners. The work also includes removing and replacing all pipe jacks, drip edge, sealing all penetrations. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for a complete turnkey project. The successful bidder must demonstrate that they possess the appropriate licenses and certifications, equipment, and experience to complete the project.

Bid Documents are available on the City Website showlowaz.gov. It is the soleresponsibility of the party submitting the Bid to obtain all information, addenda, updates,etc. to meet the submittal dates and requirements. A MANDATORY PRE BIDMEETING will be held on Thursday, October 26 at 2:00 PM at Show Low City Hall.

The due date for submittal is 3:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15. Bids shall beaddressed to Trampas Johnston City of Show Low Engineering Project Manager, 180North 9th Street, Show Low, AZ 85901. INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS
1. Defined Terms and Standard Documents
Construction and administration of this Project shall be in accordance with the
requirements of the latest edition of the following separate documents except as
modified and supplemented by these Contract Documents:
Current City of Show Low adopted codes. General Conditions are per
current Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Part 100.
Terms used in the Instructions to Bidders are defined in the General Provisions,
MAG. The term “Owner” means the City of Show Low. The term “Engineer”
means the City of Show Low City Engineer, unless otherwise stated. The term
“Bidder” means one who submits a Bid directly to Owner, as distinct from a sub-
bidder, who submits a Bid to a Bidder. The term “Successful Bidder” means the
lowest, qualified, responsible and responsive Bidder to whom the Owner (on the
basis of Owner’s evaluation as hereinafter provided) makes an award. The term
“Bidding Documents” includes the Advertisement or Invitation to Bid, Instructions
to Bidders, the Bid Form, and the proposed Contract Documents (including all
Addenda issued prior to receipt of Bids).
2. Copies of Bidding Documents:
Complete sets of the Bidding Documents stated in the Advertisement or Invitation
to Bid may be obtained from the City of Show Low.
Complete sets of Bidding Documents must be used in preparing Bids; the Owner
does not assume any responsibility for errors or misrepresentations resulting
from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents.
The Owner and Engineer, in making copies of Bidding Documents available on
the above terms, does so only for the purpose of obtaining Bids on the Work and
does not confer a license or grant for any other use.
3. Qualifications of Bidder:
To demonstrate qualifications to perform the Work, each Bidder, must be
prepared to submit within five days of Owner’s request, written evidence, such as
financial data, previous experience, present commitments and other such data as
may be called for below (or in Supplemental Instructions). Each bid must contain
evidence of Bidder’s qualifications to do business in the State of Arizona or
covenant to obtain such qualifications prior to award of the Contract.
