INVITATION TO BID
Healthy Forest Initiative Grant 2022 City Park Tree Thinning Project No. FM-6123 The City of Show Low is extending an invitation for bids for the City Park Tree Thinning City of Show Low Project No. FM-6123 in the City of Show Low. This project is sponsored through a Healthy Forest Initiative Grant from the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management. The scope of work includes the treatment (thinning) of approximately 9 acres at Show Low City Park. The project’s objective is to reduce hazardous fuels and vegetation to protect property and assets in the community of Show Low. This will be accomplished by reducing the average understory canopy height from 6-8ft. to 0-2 ft. and reducing the overstory basal area per acre (BA/Acre) to 60-80 sq/ft. per acre. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, clean-up and disposal to provide a complete project. The work shall take place at Show Low City Park 1100 West Deuce of Clubs, Show Low, Arizona, 85901. Sealed Bids will be received by the Show Low Engineering City of Show Low, 180 N. 9th Street, Show Low, AZ 85901 until Wednesday, June 28th at 4:00 P.M., with a Bid Opening immediately following. The City of Show Low reserves the right to modify the Scope of Work and to reject any and all bids not deemed in the best interest of the City. A pre-bid conference will be held on Friday, June 16th at 3:00 P.M. at the City Hall, 180 N. 9th Street, Show Low, AZ. Contract Documents and Bid Instructions may be downloaded at no cost from the City of Show Low website, showlowaz.gov. Written questions may be submitted via email or US Mail to, Trampas Johnston, Engineering Project Manager, tjohnston@showlowaz, City of Show Low, 180 N. 9th Street, Show Low, AZ 85901. The deadline for written questions is Monday, June 19th at 5:00 PM. Sealed Bids Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope.
