The City of Valdez is seeking quotes from fuel vendors to supply the City’s heating fuel, diesel engine fuel and propane supplies for a (5) five-year period from June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2029. Products must meet the specifications and requirements described in this RFQ. Quotes must be submitted on the attached form and must specify price for each item. Proposers may quote on individual items in the RFQ, and the City reserves the right to award separate contracts on individual items if the City determines it is in its best interest to do so.

Quotes must be submitted on the attached form and received electronically via the City’s file share site OR delivered to the following location/address no later than 10:00 am local time on Friday April 26, 2024.

The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes.

Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law.

Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met.

The City of Valdez “ Standard Specifications and Standard Details ” shall be used.
