COMPENSATION:

1. Monthly Fee: The Service Conti:actor agrees to charge, and the County agtees to pay the

monthly fee as determined by the agreed amount pricing as present on the Bid Form fot the

term of the contract, fot the i:equired monthly janitorial services. Seivice Contractor shall bill

monthly for seivices i:endered the pteceding month. All invoices submitted shall consist of an

o.tiginal and shan cleai:ly i:eference the Bid Number and a sufficient description to identify

seivices for which payment is requested.

2. Under Construction:

When a i:oom(s) or ai:ea(s) is undet consttuction,

being remodeled, or

otheiise

taken out of service, for mote than Thirty (30) continuous calendar days, Service

Conti:actor shan be telieved of all or part of the contract obligations fot the area designated.

As the Service Contractot will not be pei:foi:rning full service in those ai:eas, the monthly

payments will be reduced by the actual numbei: of square footage that is taken out of setvice.

3. Pi:esent Billing Rates: Any woi:k not covered by the Scope of Wotk of the conttact shall be

billed at the Service Contractor's

Rates as described in the Bid Form, an additional

seivices will be invoiced sepatately from the monthly invoice.

4. Special and Emergency Event Setvices: At the request of the Mobile County Commission's

Service Contract Adrninisttatot,

Special Event Seivices and Emergency Event Services will be

invoiced per the Additional

Rates as described in the attached Bid Form. All Invoices foi:

special and emergency seiv'ces shan include the following attachments: Synopsis of houts

worked, list of employee's names (last names only), Name and Date(s) of event, Location, and

attach email authorization.

No claim foi: Work futnished by the Se.i'vice Contractor not

specifically provided for herein shall be paid by Mobile County Commission.

INOUIRIES:

1. Questions regarding this project should be dii:ected to the Se.ivice Contract Administtatot

apiil.holifield@,mobilecountyal.gov no later than Thtee (3) business days piior to the bid opening.

Responses to questions may be handled as an addendum if the response pro'vides clatification to

the requirements of the bid. All such addenda shall become patt of the contract documents.

Center, 1070 Schillinger Road North, Mobile, AJ, 36695. Any Service

Contractors not having a representative

at this meeting will be disqualified from bidding on

this ptoject.

INSURANCE RE0UIREMENTS

1. Service Conti:actor, at its sole expense, shan obtain and maintain

in full force the following

insurance to protect the Service Contractor

and the Mobile County Commission

(MCC) at

limits and covetages specified herein. These limits and covetages specified are the rninitnum to

be maintained and ate not intended to represent the cottect insurance needed to fully and

adequately protect the Sei:vice Conttactor.

If requested by MCC, Service Contractor

will

provide copies of policies within 10 days of tequest.

2. All insurance shall be provided by insurers licensed to conduct business in the State of

Alabama and shall have a minimum A.M. Best rating of A- VII and must be acceptable to

MCC. Self-insured plans and/or group funds not having an A.M. Best i:ating must be

submitted to MCC foi: prior appi:oval.
