Landscape Maintenance Services RFP

Request for Proposals for Landscape Maintenance Services for the Northwest and Southeast City of Davis Work Zone Areas

The City of Davis is seeking proposals, specifications and estimates from qualified Contractors to provide, perform and manage all elements of landscaping maintenance services (“Services”) for two (2) City Work Zone Areas. The proposed contracted public landscaping locations are divided into two (2) separate geographic City Work Zone Areas in Davis referred to as: (a) the Northwest (“NW") and (b) the Southeast (“SE”).

Contractors may submit proposals for one or both of the City Work Zone Areas. The City maintains the right to award Work Zone Areas independently or joint to Contractor(s) based on the most capable and best value to the City for each of the City Work Zone Areas.

The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of maintenance of public landscaping locations, including but not limited to: (a) city-wide parks, (b) play areas, (c) athletic fields, (d) sports courts, (e) greenbelts, (f) parking lots, (g) open spaces, (h) street medians, (i) streetscapes, (j) cobblestone street, (k) pedestrian paths and (m) other building grounds.

The resulting Contract(s) from this RFP will be for a term of two (2) years fixed-price contract. The City shall have the option to renew said Agreement for up to three (3) additional one (1) year terms upon the same terms and conditions as provided in this Agreement. If the contract extends beyond the initial two (2) year term, prices may be subject to adjustment not to exceed 2% annually.
