NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City of Healdsburg at the Administration/Clerks office located at City Hall, 401 Grove Street, Healdsburg, County of Sonoma, State of California, until the hour of 2:00 p.m., on the 11th day of January, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the chambers of the City Council, 401 Grove Street, Healdsburg, California, for:
SUPPLY, DELIVER, AND INSTALL ENERGY STAR MOST EFFICIENT REFRIGERATORS AND DISHWASHERS IFB-09-023

Any bidder that is not registered for the plan holders list prior to the bid opening date shall have their bid deemed non-responsive. The Work in general consists of supplying, delivering and installing current ENERGY STAR Most Efficient Refrigerators and Dishwashers for up to 17 income-restricted multi-family properties ranging from 4 to 81 housing units per property in Healdsburg, California, and other such items of work as are required to complete the Project in accordance with the Invitation for Bids and the Draft Contract including the Scope of Work and Terms and Conditions.
A voluntary pre-bid meeting will be held on December 18, 2023, at 10AM. The pre-bid meeting will be held at the City Hall Council Chambers, 401 Grove Street, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
The successful bidder must submit to the City complete, executed copies of all required documents within ten (10) working days of receiving written notice of award of the project. Such required documents include, but are not limited to, a payment or labor and materials bond in an amount of at least 100 percent of the amount payable by the terms of the project contract and that satisfies the requirements of California Civil Code Section 9554, and a performance bond in an amount of at least 100 percent of the amount payable by the terms of the contract. All project bonds must be executed by an admitted surety insurer in accordance with applicable law and acceptable to the City.
