Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach Community Development Department is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide on-call building and safety services, specifically on-call plan checking services. Proposer(s) must have the expertise, experience, and demonstrate resources available to perform the work described in the RFP, as requested by an applicant or the City, on-call building and safety services, specifically on-call plan checking services, as detailed in the Request for Proposal (RFP).

No proposals will be accepted after the listed date and time. Hard copy proposals must be clearly marked with the project title and RFP number and submitted in a sealed envelope. Electronic proposals must be emailed directly to the project manager identified in the RFP. The format, content, and procedures for submitting a proposal are provided in further detail within the RFP.

Hard copy proposals must be clearly marked and submitted to the Community Development Department, 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254.  Both hard copy and electronic submittals will be received until 6:00 p.m. PST, Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Proposals will not be opened at that time but will be submitted to the Community Development Department for verification and compliance with specifications for consideration of being placed on the qualified vendor’s list.  The City reserves the right to make no determination.

Proposals received after the deadline will be considered late.  Such proposals may be returned unopened. Faxed or emailed proposals are not acceptable.
