2023 Streets Preventative Maintenance

**In order to be an eligible bidder, interested parties must reach out to the city of Pleasanton and request to be added to the plan holder list. See Notice to Bidders for more information.** The streets preventive maintenance work includes approximately 35,000 square feet of full-depth HMA repair (dig-out) and 11,000 pounds of crack sealing on various streets in preparation for approximately 1.3 million square feet of slurry-seal work that the City will perform under a separate contract. The preventative maintenance work shall be completed no later than September 8, 2023. The project also includes the installation of asphalt leveling course in various locations, installation of the Caltrans Midwest Guardrail System (MGS) at Bernal Bridge over Arroyo del Valle, traffic control and any necessary coordination with other projects occurring within the vicinity of the project site. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, transportation and other necessary services to complete the work in accordance with these Project Plans and Special Provisions. The Engineer’s cost estimate for the project is $470,000.
