Description:

The Placer County Community Development Resources Agency requests written responses to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for selection of a qualified planning consultant firm (or team of consultants) to assist staff with a comprehensive update to the County’s General Plan including background and technical documents and prepare the corresponding California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents necessary for approval. The tasks are more particularly described in Section 3.0, Requested Scope of Services. The County anticipates the General Plan update will be completed over a three-year period to facilitate public outreach and work within budgetary constraints.

This solicitation includes a description of the scope of work, proposal requirements, and instructions for submitting your proposal.

A Pre-Proposer’s Conference has been scheduled for July 6, 2023 to be held at the Office of Procurement Services located at 2964 Richardson Drive Auburn, CA.

Interested firms will have an opportunity to submit questions regarding the requirements outlined in this RFP.

While attendance is not mandatory, interested proposers are highly encouraged to attend, as this meeting will not be recorded. In order to make the meeting more effective for all participants, attendees should read this document thoroughly prior to the meeting.
