Veterinary Supplies & Pharmaceuticals

Placer County is soliciting competitive bids for veterinary supplies and consumable items only. This bid shall result in the award of one Supplier Contract in the maximum aggregate amount of $45,000.00 for an approximate initial one-year term with possible annual renewals. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this bid solicitation. Please note that the County requires NEW PRODUCT only - No refurbished, restored, or display products will be accepted. The items and quantities listed in this bid represent the County's estimated annual requirements and will be utilized for evaluation purposes only. The County does not guarantee that all items and quantities listed in this bid will be purchased throughout the contract term. The County reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of any item listed herein.

This bid shall be evaluated and awarded on an all-or-none basis. The evaluation will be conducted under the provisions of Section 6 of the General Terms and Conditions, which will include at minimum: the pricing offered herein, prompt payment discounts if offered, local vendor preference (if applicable), and adherence to all conditions and requirements of this bid. Placer County intends to award to the successful bidder in the total amount of $45,000 for an initial one-year term with possible annual renewals. Each bidder shall also indicate whether their firm offers a local sales representative to provide customer support services to Placer County and is in the Auburn/Roseville area. If so, please provide the representative's name and telephone number at the time of award.
