North Tahoe Regional Trail System Strategic & Fiscal Analysis

Placer County, in coordination with state and local public trail operating agencies in the North Tahoe area, requests written responses to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for selection of a qualified planning and economic consultant firm (or team of consultants) to assist staff with data collection, stakeholder engagement, strategic implementation plan, and funding strategy for the completion and operation of a 67-mile paved public trail system linking each of the communities of North Tahoe (referred to as the Resort Triangle Trail) and providing a link in the bi-state Tahoe Bikeway, a paved trail that will one day encircle the entirety of Lake Tahoe. The work is more particularly described in the attached RFP documents. A diagram of the completed and planned sections of this trail system is included in this RFP.

Pre-Proposal Meeting (Microsoft Teams Meeting)

A proposer’s conference has been scheduled for April 2, 2024 at 9:00 am. Interested firms will have an opportunity to submit questions regarding the requirements outlined in this RFP.
